Maria Delcheva

Maria is deeply involved in the artistic environment in Bulgaria. She has worked throughout her life
with color, design and expression through the brushes. She handles several kinds of art from iconpainter, refresher of freskner in churches and theater / film to nature, buldings and abstract terms. All materials and fine arts has her interest. She is a master in Children Art Pedagogic and Education.

Besides painting, she works in a gallery in her birthtown of Haskovo and teaches children and young people to express themselves through colors. Each summer, she works in Denmark, where she teaches art in 'Tante Andantes House' and is the leader of a summer drawing-course in Ebeltoft.

In Ebeltoft she met her husband Henning. They now live together in Haskovo, where they together helps children from the street; give them a place to stay and making trips in the mountains. Maria has 2 great children.

Some expressions in Danish are stuck - 'frikadeller' and 'goddag' and some other small words - otherwise the language is English, which she speaks fluently and very clearly.

Maria is a very open and smiling person. She is responsive and good to read and understand her fellows. She has a great patience and good-humored, which is good when she helps other to bring out their own artist in the stomage and have their expression appears on a canvas.
